Apt.Lease
I rented a apt. For a co-worker in my name.Six months after he moved out(end of lease)collection agency called me for 2900.00 in fees.Broken lease,water,carpet cleaning,not enough notice,rent for june.What shall i do?

Learn an expensive lesson. NEVER sign a contract on behalf of another unless you are prepared to suffer the consequences. You are on the hook for the $2,900, but you can seek reimbursement from your co-worker in small claims court. However, you can't get blood out of a turnip!
