The Grantor on a Quitclaim Deed (recorded in Harris County Aug 2007) is a Catholic Order of Carmelites, a non profit Texas corporation. The Grantee is the Cardinal of the Archdiocese Galveston Houston. Consideration: $10 and other good and valuable consideration. Property (including improvements) in Harris County are tracts of land valued from $8 to $10 million. The Archdiocese is selling property to HISD. Who receives the money from HISD?

Probably the Archdiocese Galveston Houston. For a sale of this size, title insurance is sure to be involved, and the title commitment will tell you who the owner is.
