Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

Title in Texas

My parents divorced 30 years ago, the divorce decree stated the house to be sold when I turned 18, in leu of child support he paid the house payment and all utilities which he never did on any of the utilities and my mother got an attorney and threatened suit, he chose not to sell the home and cont. house payments until paid in full. For 20 years mother has paid the Insurance and taxes. Is there a way to legally get the house in her name only. Maybe a homestead exclusion for a title? Is there still squatters rights? My father does not live in the same state and states the home has been left in the childrens name in his will. I have nothing to support that. Any suggestion or help is appreciated.

You need the help of a lawyer. Yes you have rights, but to do this correctly it will involve a lawsuit. Best of luck.
