Legal Question in Traffic Law in Texas

Got citation for failing to come to a full stop at a stop sign. What option do you recommend?

Facts- It was in a rural residental town of less than 1000. There was not a single car on the road but me.

I did not even see where the officer's car was sitting. I beleived that I did come to a stop before turning right. Told officer our destination and purpose for coming into town. It was for a community service project. After I arrived at destination- that officer and another parked their cars in the private driveway that lead to the place. Then they got out and walked around. I felt very intimidated.

Do I fight the ticket because I believe I was right. Or in these small towns, am I going loose because its a good old boy system. What about the fact that the officer followed me out to the place, got out and walked around. It was private property. thanks for your help

If this town isn't too far from where you live, go ahead and fight it all the way. Demand a jury trial. Yes, it's worth it. Put the cop on the stand and make him tell a jury why he played his little game of following you to your destination - ask him if he always does this - ask him if he had a quota of tickets that night - ask him how far away he was when he saw you.
