Re: Affidavit of Heirship
I normally charge $250 for an affidavit of this type. You can probably find an attorney who will charge a comparable price.
Re: Affidavit of Heirship
There is a statutory form in the probate code which may be found by searching the Texas Statutes which are linked on the links portion of my web page at http://www.reasonable-doubt.com I noticed you are in Fort Worth and my offices are in Tarrant County. If you decide that you need assistance, please send e-mail to [email protected] The cost of an affidavit of heirship depends in part on the nature of the property and the time involved in preparing the document. It is not appropriate in all circumstances and may need to be filed in the appropriate location or locations. Good luck.
Re: Affidavit of Heirship
The Affidavit of Heirship sets out the family history to determine the heirs as a matter of law, and is attested to by two witnesses that do not take when there's no will.
I recommend that you hire an attorney to assist you with this.
