I am wanting to know if a person is appointed excutor of an estate. Can they charge and Excutors fee? And if so how much. This is in the state of TX.

Thank you.

Re: Executors fee

The executor's fee in Texas is 2.5% of money brought into the estate by work done; i.e. selling real estate. You cannot charge a fee for simply transferring money from an account to an estate account.
