Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

Executrix and heir has a different last name than the one in the will

What problems will I have in filing for probate or in receiving my inheritance since my last name is different than the one that I had when my dad made his will in 1973?

What documentation will I need to prove that I am that same person specified?

You should have no problem whatsoever. A copy of the final divorce decree, marriage license, and/or birth certificate should clear up any uncertainties. My sympathies on the loss of your father.

You shouldn't have any problem if you can provide documents that show who you were in 1973 (birth certificate, old driver's license) and when your name changed (marriage license, etc.)
