Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

In Texas, what procedure is needed to add myself as co-executor (with my sister) of our mother's will? Can it be done without an attorney?

Is your mother deceased? If not, then she can amend her will. You don't need an attorney, but it's a very bad idea to do a will without one. If your mother is deceased, you can petition the court to make you a co-executor. It's up to the judge's discretion. Again, do not do this without a lawyer.
