Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

last will and testament

We had a will prepared for my son in October 2007, right before he was to be deployed to Iraq. He didn't get the chance to get it notarized. He's now home on leave, and we need to get it taken care of. Can we, or the notary mark out and initial the old date, and insert the correct date and it be legal? Also, my son's legal address is listed as mine where it will be notarized, but the will says that he is domiciled in Bell County, which is where he's stationed. If that is incorrect, can we also, mark out , correct and initial that as well?

No marking out or writing on a Will! Why don't you see it the attorney who prepared it originally will make the corrections for you?
