Legal Question in Family Law in Trinidad and Tobago

my husband & i have been married for almost 8 yrs now and we have been separated for over a year now. i have asked him for a divorce but he doesn't want it can i still obtain a divorce without his consent & how long does divorce proceedings take once their is no children and properties involved.

Depending on the reason for the break up, you do not need your husband's consent to get a divorce. You should get legal advice you on your options.
