Legal Question in Real Estate Law in United Kingdom

I left my wife in 2002 and moved to India. My brother was appointed Power of Attorney.

My Ex-Wife sold the matrimonial house and sent a solicitors letter to my brother stating I had relinquished all rights to the property and asking him to sign to this effect.

I was not informed of this.

My brother signed the letter and we only found out at a later date the house was sold for a considerable amount.

Do i have any redress to receiving my rightful share of the profits.

Hopefully you have not given all information... With the limited information, here some thoughts:

Your brother acted on your behalf, it is hard to believe that he would not consult you on this.

You can sue your brother for the lost funds, if he acted not according to your wishes.
