abandoment
i was wondering how much time has to pass before it is considered abandonment. my ex husband has made no effort to contact my two children for almost ten months now. i want my husband now to adopt. thanks

Abandonment occurs after 6 months of no contact between a parent and child. You can proceed with the step parent adoption. You may call for a free consultation.
