Legal Question in Family Law in Utah

I am going to divorce my wife and I am wondering when it would be best to do so. We have been married 19 years, have two children: one almost 19 who has moved out, and one almost 17 still living at home. My wife has homeschooled the kids and stayed home most of the past 18+ years. We are at a point where she had committed to me since we first had children that she would go back to school to re-certify as a medical assistant and get back in the work force: she doesn't really want to now and is too scared to go back to school or to work. I am not sure what my financial obligations would be if I left now versus after our youngest turns 18 and I am looking for some advice. I know she would be able to get grants for school if I left, but I am unsure at this time in my life.

If there are children still under 18 living with her as the primary custodial parent she will be entitled to child support (based on your incomes.) She will probably be entitled to alimony.
