Legal Question in Employment Law in Utah

How do I file for "Promissory Estoppel" and win?

With Corporate centralization within a large corporation, I was very concerned about my job security. I was told several times by my district manager that I did not need to worry that she was assigning me to a new job assignment and that I would still have a job. I was laid-off in January with no explanation from my District Manager and she was the person that made the final decision. I also found out that she had made that decision earlier but had been telling me that I would still have a job. Because of her promises and our discussions about my new job assignment I had made some financial commitments that needed to be made in order to comply with my new assignment. I am still unemployed and the severe financial and credit hardships created by these obvious lies is making my life unbearable. Help!

Your issues ar too complex to address in this forum.. If you can prove what you say, you may have a case. You need to get local counsel and discuss your scenario.
