Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Utah
My wife and are living in a place that is not leased in our name. If we break the lease, can the landlord garnish us? or just the person on the lease? The person on the lease is preparing to file bankruptcy anyway. the landlord doesnt have our SS# or anything.

The landlord may be able to sue you, but likely will limit to the tenant that signed the lease.
