Refund Obligations

I have a credit at my dentist office worth more than $100 dollars because they overcharged for some work. In the last 5 weeks I have asked them 4 times to return the money to the card I paid with. They said they only do it once a week and it could be up to another week. Can't I demand the money right away since it has been over a month that they have witheld it from me?
