Is it illegal for a 19 year old male to send nude pictures to a 17 year old female if it was consensual?

Yes it is. What makes you think that sending nude photos is a good idea anyway - especially to a minor? Are you able to support yourself and a baby? That is where you are headed, and I feel sorry for the baby who gets stuck with such an irresponsible father.
