Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Utah

I am 1 of 5 beneficiaries and my oldest sister is the Trustee . She marked off 3 of my parents bank accounts off of the trust assets page, which she is now denying this. I have been trying to find these accounts--should I be doing this? I have asked for a full accounting from before my parents deaths because she took over 6 months prior to the Trust. She has given hand written ledgers which doesn't even jive with what she's written. She had a full payout and release of her duties drawn up and there is Jewelry and gold coins still not figured in. I refused to sign without full disclosure with bank statements and all. Well she is telling family that she is getting a lawyer because I'll never sign. Where do I go from here?

The best move you can make is to get a lawyer who can then try to work with her lawyer. As Successor Trustee, she has certain duties, and one of those is to provide an accounting. If it is inaccurate, then she must make it accurate; you have a right to go to court to force her to provide an accurate accounting. Explain to your siblings the problems you have with what she has provided, and see how they feel when they realize nobody can tell what is going on based on what she has provided.
