credit card garnishment

i've signed up with a debt free program when i signed up with them i was told not to talk to the creditors know my paycheck is being garnished my credit amount on the card was 2200 the garnish amout is over 3300 is their anything i can do i can't afford a lawyer i'm struggling to pay my bills i'm a single parent so i need to keep my job

If the creditor obtained a valid judgment against you for the debt amount itself, attorney fees and other costs, including judgment interest were likley addable to the total which likely explains the amount for which you're currently being garnished.
