Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Virginia

My husband died with credit card debt in his name with me listed as user. He has 5,000 life insurance. One person at credit card co said pay and another said it is not my debtand don't pay. We live in Va. What do I do

Your deceased husband's estate is responsible for his credit card debts. However, if you personally made any of those charges as an authorized user of this card, you should pay them (in my opinion).

Mr. Hendrickson's answer may be his moral opinion, but legally even the charges you made are not your responsibility. You signed as his agent, so the liability is with his estate and not you.
