Liens

How do I place a lien on an individual who has signed a personal gaurantee. We have several situations where the $ is 100.00-200.00 and would not be cost effective to use an attorney.

You have to file suit and get a judgment, and then if it's in General District Court or in a county other than where the defendant owns real estate, docket that judgment in the proper county. For the judgment lien to attach to personal property, a writ of fieri facias has to issue and be levied on the property.
