Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia

appealing a Felony conviction

where can I find someone to represent daughter to appeal felony. She was found guilty according to judge ''I would have to retry the other 2 if I let you go''. She was the one that maintained her innocence''. The other plea-bargained. The guilty one- plead guilt. Daughter was key player in helping with conviction of guilty party. She refused however to say she did anything wrong, while she was with this person when she (the other girl) stole--name removed--dog, she did not know about it, my daughter never went in the premises. My daughters wrong doing~she later took the dog to keep it for being sold for drugs. We dont think she would get--name removed--fair appeal. At bench trial, even commonwealth atty suggested community svs she had so many character/support witnesses; including the sheriff was one of her witnesses; the owner of the store was even impressed with her. But we were all shocked at the out come. We were hoping after 2 yrs probation for espunge. but reading this site it seems hopeless, her dreams is to be--name removed--nurse, of which she is currently in college. It breaks my heart to tell her what I am reading. Can someone help me fight for her? or at least what to do? Her 2 years is up in 12 months.
