Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia

Falsely Accuced - Truth has come out out

I have a friend who was falsely accused and convicted some years ago of sexaul crimes against his stepdaughters. The children have now admitted to their grandparents who they live with that their mother had them to lie and put them up to this. The grandparents are willing to help clear my friends name. This is on his record and affected his life tremendously. How and what should he do to get his name and record cleared of these charges

He should consult an attorney about this process and any potential for compensation. Good luck!

It is possible to remedy this with a writ of actual innocence. This procedure is relatively new and few lawyers know how to utilize it.

I recommend you contact the SRIS Law Group, Fairfax, VA with offices in several Virginia locations. 888.437.7747
