Divorce/Settlement/Custody

In the settlement agreement my former husband agreed to pay 1/2 of what the medical does not cover. He does not comply. What recourse do I have?

Move for enforcement and contempt of the court's order.

Make sure you can prove that you have submitted the bills to him. My rule is to send them certified mail so he has to sign for them. When he does not pay you back after the next month's support cycyle, file a Motion to Show Cause for Contempt of Court in the court that created the Order. He is in contempt of that Court's order and the Court can jail him or fine him and make him pay your attorney fees to enforce the agreement if any.

Good luck
