Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

My husband of 27 years suddenly kicked me out of our home, changed the locks and moved his mistress in. They then went through my whole life of clothes, property, financial documents and everything I own and tossed it outside. I am being threatened to go there and try to recover anythiing. I've been twice with police and got pictures of everything, but, scared for my safety. I can't get this into court for more than two months. I'm sure he will try to delay that hearing, but, how long can he keep doing that and get away with it?

Hope you have a lawyer by now to represent you who should

be in the best position to answer these questions.

Follow your attorney's advice who should be able to shut down your husband's

shennanigans before too much longer and to get you onto a more or less

even playing field, legally speaking, with this spousal abuser.
