Showing up to court

Do I have to show up to court? I am not the one that got in trouble and I don't want to go because I don't want the other person to get anything. So will I get introuble for not showing up?

If you were served with a subpoena, yes you need to show up. If you agreed to show up, you need to show up. You face possible contempt charges, fines and imprisonment for ignoring orders from a Court.
