Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Virginia

affidavit - civil law, VA,, property damage to vehicle, loss time

Cab struck in the rear, snowy day, busy cop, no ticket. Full front to full rear accident. Photos, cab driver, and cop testimony looks good; other driver states cab pulled infront at last minute to turn left. No ticket no insurance settlement - goto court in 3 days - knew you had to file an affidavit with insurance co. lawyers for value of vehicle - QUESTION do you also have to file an affidavit for the loss time and cost of re-installing radio and meter from totalled cab or can that be presented in court. Yea - I should have got a lawyer - I hope someone tips good here. Thanks for help.

You can do it with live testimony but someone has to relate the lost time to the accident and testify as to how that time translates into dollars (someone from the taxi company)
