Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Virginia

I made a deposit in a bank nite drop for work. The bank said they never recieved it.

I was investigated for larceny and could have been fired at any time. 4 months later the bank found the money stuck in the nite drop machine. My life for the last 4 months has been hell. What can I do?
