Legal Question in Immigration Law in Virginia

I have 7 years of experience and MSc(CS) from India, my education evaluation says , its equivalent to 4year baccalaureate degree, as per my lawyer my 4ear baccalaureate is not from single source(combined BSc +MSc) so I am not eligible for EB2 category is that true? Is there any law 4year baccalaureate from single source?

You may have the equivalent of a four-year U.S. degree if the BSc and MSc subjects are similar. You may therefore qualify for EB2 based on the equivalent of a four-year U.S.bachelor's degree plus 5 years of employment experience after earning MSc: www.h1b1.com/employmentbased.htm
