Legal Question in Immigration Law in Virginia

What happens if an inmate in loudoun county jail, was suppose to be eligible for a bond of 10,000 but immigration got ahold of the case and wont let that happen because of his legal status. Is there a chance with a good lawyer for him to be bail out until his next court date thats in february?

No, because if immigration authorities have lodged a detainer against him, even if the Loudoun Court were to release him on bond, he would be released into the custody of the Department of Homeland Security which would hold him until his immigration issues are resolved.

Hello:

At this point, he should get representation in Immigration Court so he has a better chance of beating the deportation. Please call me for more information.
