Legal Question in Employment Law in Virginia

My employer wants me to take out my eyebrow piercing

I interviewed with my piercings in, got hired. Nothing was mentioned about my piercing until now. No customers have complained. They told me I have to take my piercing out. It is not a direct safety hazard because I make copies all day. Does this fall under hiring under false pretense? Or do I have to because of their dress code policy?

No, I see no evidence of false pretenses in this scenario, but if you want to keep your job, you'll have to be "depierced"(at least while you're at work).
