Required to take lunch break
If I work 7 hrs and not 8 hrs, am I required to take a lunch break?

Only if your employer says so. (There may be federal legislation soon passed that will require employers to provide such breaks for their employees. However, as of now there is no such requirement except in those states which have enacted it in their state labor laws.)
