Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Virginia
I have been renting an apartment with my fiance for the past 11 months. We signed a renewal contract on 10/10/15 that would start 11/01/15 but the apartment complex had us sign and date the contract for 11/15/15. We decided to move out 10/17/15 due to low income and they are trying to take us to court for breaking our new contract. But because they had us date the contract for 11/15/15 is this contract even legal?
