Legal Question in Personal Injury in Virginia
Am I legally vulnerable if I build a simple deck for my daughters above ground pool and someone gets hurt jumping off the deck into the pool. I am a handy DIY, not a liscenced builder.

Yes, you could be liable for an injury incurred under the
circumstance described which may or may not be covered under
your homeowner's insurance policy (my opinion).
