Legal Question in Personal Injury in Virginia
If a minor (15yo; now 16) was involved in a car accident (with neighbor) and due to injuires received in accident receives a settlement from the insurance company, can the parent cash the check & keep for themselves? or if check assigned to the minor, can the money be held until minor is 18?
