Slip and Fall

If you have filed a civil suit in Maryland, the attorney withdrew, civil court will dismiss the case in fifteen days, I live in Virginia can I obtain a new attorney in Va and file a new suit in my state?

Re: Slip and Fall

If the dismissal is "without prejudice," then you can re-file. Whether you can sue in VA will depend on whether you can get jurisdiction over the defendant in VA.
