Legal Question in Personal Injury in Virginia

Suing a subcontractor

My husband lost a case in the state of Va. because the company he worked for was a subcontractor with the company he was at when he was injured. My question is can I sue them for damages that I have experienced from my husbands injuries since I am not employed with either of them?

Re: Suing a subcontractor

Your causes of action might possibly include loss of consortium among others. You would be well advised to take the matter up of your possible actions against your husband's former employer with an attorney in your area who is appropriately knowledgeable and experienced regarding personal injury litigation.
