Legal Question in Product Liability in Virginia

Broken Property

About a week ago I had my car repossed. I came up with the past due, and the repo fe to get it back went and paid the money. Went to the shop where they had it, and when i picked it up I found out that evidentally they broke my front axles when they towed it while repossessong it. They had to tow it from Newport News, to Virginia Beach. I drive a 2000 Jeep and those SUVs can not be gragged they have to be towed on dollies. I went back to the dealership and he told me that the tow truck is denying any fault, they are trying to get me to pay half the money to get it fixed. The thing is I did not break it they did. Could you please advise me of my rights.

Re: Broken Property

Send the at fault tow party a written demand notice for full payment of the cost for the repair of your vehicle. If they reject it or fail to remit, then file your claim in small claims court for up to $5000.
