Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Virginia

I bought and owned a vehicle, turned around ans sold said vehicle, 6 years later a person contacts me asking for title, I find out the person I sold it too, resold it without tittling it. I contacted DMV in the state I had it registered in, and confirmed it was still in my name and had a duplicate title sent to me. Do I still legally own said vehicle ? I am have been a legal resident of VA for a few years now, and was a NC state resident when I sold it to a person in VA ( I am in military)..............the new holder of vehicle thinks its his since he bought it.

I would suggest that you forget all about what's happened between the time that

you sold the vehicle and the present and merely sign the back of the title over to "the new holder of vehicle (who) thinks its(sic) his since he bought it". And, no,

don't spend one more minute thinking about whether your claim to the

vehicle might now be sustained due to your name erroneously still remaining on the title because I can tell you that it will not be(at least in any court of law that might be called on to review the matter).
