A car, you say, that "someone was repairing". Who in heaven's name could this mysterious person be whom you would have such great confidence in that you would turn over and entrust him with your "wheels", so to speak---without knowing more---indeed, much more?

Until you hunt down and find the SOB(s)who've apparently absconded with your transportation, there's not a whole lot you can do other than going to the local law enforcement authorities and report it as a stolen vehicle.
