Contract Default

I have a sales contract on a house. We were to close 7/24, the seller needed more time so they changed the date to 7/31. We agreed and at closing on 7/31, no one who represents the seller even showed up, but called to change the date to 8/1/08. Now their attorney calls and says can't close, his office is moving and that was it. What can I do because I lose my apartment soon and I've paid upfront costs for this home already.

It is necessary to see the contract. You may have to sue to force the seller to closing.
