im being taken to court because the landlord is saying i owe rent but i was only there for 3 days not the whole month what should i do

Unfortunately, even if you were there in the rental unit for only three days, if you left without giving the proper amount of required notice, you could still owe for the entire month, or, perhaps, even more than that.
