encroachment
bought a house--neighbor has boat encroached 8 feet on our property. not told to us at closing. can we remove it or I'd just as soon rent it to him . We dont want to lose the property or the neighbor.

Hello,
If you want to maintain good relations with the neighbor, you might consider a "license" agreement. If a survey was done for the purchase, you might inquire why this was not detected.
