Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Virginia

trailer on our land

my husband and I purchased from his sister a home and 5 acres of land, there is a trailer sitting on the land that belongs or belonged to his grandmother who is now in a nursing home and the administrator of her estate which is her son is in charge, his sister is living in the mobile home and not paying rent or lot rent and the trailer is in our back yard we want her out as she is causing us problems, and the administrators of the trailer have refused to help us in any way, they do not pay lot rent either, do we have the right to have the trailer moved and all of his sister's things which she has not moved since we purchased the house 12/10/02, she is threatening us and telling us we have no rights and that she can live there as long as she wants. We have already given her a 30 day notice that she has to move all of her stuff from our home and our land by 10/25/02. And she is telling us she does not have to move, and that she can live in the trailer on our land as long as she wants.

Re: trailer on our land

You should retain an attorney who practices real

property law in the jurisdiction where the property is located, as you will need a court order to have the trailer and the person occupying it removed from your premises.
