Legal Question

My boss has had me driving a commercial vehicle that has not been registered for couple years and illegal tags from another truck that has permanent tags. I was not aware the truck was illegal. Do you know what kind of penalty I could receive if I had been pulled over? I'm driving that vehicle anymore by the way!
