Legal Question in Traffic Law in Virginia

I have been caught driving on suspended and went to court on the wrong day. So now I have failure to appear. I was put on unsupervised probation and given community service. Now I missed the appt with my probation officer and when I went to see her she had already violated me and the judge put a capias out for my arrest. I went across the street and turned myself in. Now I have to go to court for violating my probabtion. What do u suggest I ask my attorney(court appointed) to do? I'm hoping I can get comminity service. I live in a different county then the one I have to go to court in. Will they usually let u do community service in the town u live in? I know all these issues are my fault for not being resposible and I just want to face this and get it over with. In the future If I get any kind of ticket I will pay it ASAP! thanks

Your court-appointed counsel should be able to figure out the best

arguments to use in mitigation of your alleged violation of the conditions

of your probation(once s/he is apprised of all the relevant facts).
