Legal Question in Traffic Law in Virginia

Citizens Arrest Reckless Driving

While driving to work one evenine a car pulled out in front on me causing me to put on brakes. I did

not hit her. She was ''talking'' on her cell phone. I had the right of way. Any way I kept driving and after a few miles a police officer pulled me over and issued me a summons for ''Reckless Driving'' The

office told me he did not want to pull me over but a lady needed my

information so she could get a reckless driving charge against me.

I am terrifed. Its my word against hers, a very small county (the good

ole boys club}. I did nothing wrong here she did. What are my chances of beating this. I have no

witnesses (as she)

Re: Citizens Arrest Reckless Driving

I would advise your hiring an attorney to represent you on this apparently ill-founded charge of reckless driving who may be able to succeed in getting it dismissed.
