Legal Question in Traffic Law in Virginia

Hi, I was forced to plead guilty for a reckless driving charge and child-life endangerment charge for having unbuckled kids in my car and driving at high speeds. I was forced to give my consent to pay USD 2500+ and suspension of my license for 6 months. This is in Virigina. Can I re-appeal?

It's hard to say without a little more information what your appeal rights are. If you entered your plea in General District Court, you can note an appeal of the misdemeanor within 10 days of the conviction. If you plea was in Circuit Court, you can appeal to the Court of Appeals within 30 days of conviction. If you pleaded guilty, your appeal rights will be somewhat limited. You might be best to consult an attorney.

Forced to plead guilty; how so? (One should rarely--if ever--plead

guilty to such charges and demand a trial--in my opinion.)
