Death benefits
my great aunt had a will before passing. My mother's sister put her name on her annuity policy. Does the will supercede her benefits upon her passing?

More information would be required as to whether the benefits from this particular annuity would be similar to life insurance death benefits which normally pass to a named beneficiary outside of the probate process.
