Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Virginia

Leaving current husband out of will

Hi - I am currently still married for financial reasons. Our separation is permanent and friendly. I own a house that my husband has signed a QuitClaim Deed to. I have a live-in friend and would like to leave the house and money to him. What is the format I would need to use?

Thanks much

Note: The prior answer assumes that you have a

Property Settlement Agreement(PSA) with your husband in effect in which there is provision for the disposition of all of the marital property which can be accounted for from your marriage and that there is also agreement in this PSA as to how any other major financial matters deriving from the marriage are to be settled, including the issue of spousal support(alimony).
